In terms of landscape, Beaver County has several amazing photography jewels, such as waterfalls and rivers. The Saint Nicholas Chapel, however, is one of the few architectural marvels in the region. The Chapel, which is next to GCU’s Beaver, Pennsylvania headquarters, is a new-world homage to GCU’s Rusyn immigrant founders’ old-world beliefs. The chapel is modeled after churches built centuries ago in the Carpathian Mountains’ foothills in Eastern Europe (current-day Slovakia) and Western Ukraine. In the fourth century, Saint Nicholas, patron of GCU and the Byzantine Catholic Church in America, lived in Asia Minor. He was a living example of faith and decency. His most notable attribute was his charity to fellow humans.
The Saint Nicholas Chapel, however, is one of the few architectural marvels in the region.

A suggestion for something to eat
Primanti Brothers aren’t as satisfying to me as Bowsers. I adore a good Pittsburgh-style sandwich, and I believe Bowsers makes the greatest. They have a wonderful Barbecue menu as well as a large craft beer selection. All of their meals are prepared on-site. They are open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
